About the Song
The Yellow Bus Song is a cheerful, sing-along video made for Muslim children heading back to school. It follows Amira, Zayd, and their friends as they wait eagerly at the bus stop, clapping and swaying to the beat, before the big yellow bus rolls in, bounces to a stop, and welcomes everyone aboard. It's a simple story, but it captures a feeling every child knows well: the excitement of a new school year and the joy of being with friends.
We built this video around warm, golden morning light, a soft 3D animated style, and gentle, joyful movement β no chaos, no rushing, just happy kids and a bus that seems just as excited as they are.
Three Short Videos That Bring the Story to Life
Alongside the main song, we created three companion shorts that each add a little more heart to the Yellow Bus Song world:
1. Zara's Back to School Morning π
This short follows Zara through a cozy back-to-school morning β from breakfast at the table to spotting the yellow bus outside her window. It ends with her asking a simple, heartfelt question: "Are you excited to go back to school?" A gentle reminder that even small morning routines can be filled with excitement and gratitude.
